Both LOCTITE 243 and EVERBUILD GP Blue are medium-strength, self-curing adhesives designed for locking threads when items need to be disassembled. These fast-acting thread lock and sealant products are ideal for watches, preventing screw-in pins and bracelet links from vibrating loose or working loose over time. Both thread lockers seal threads against leaks and corrosion and can be easily undone with mini-screwdrivers or watchmaking tools.

In addition to watches and clocks, these adhesives are perfect for securing screws in instruments such as cockpit clocks or preventing screws in electronic devices like computers or phones from loosening.

We typically stock these products in 10 ML sizes due to frequent supply issues. Both are of equal quality, so we stock whichever is available.

Please Note: Although it is possible that removed links in a watch bracelet or screw-in lug pins might remain secure without threadlocker if they are very tight, our watchmakers advise against this risk. If the pins fail and work loose, the watch could fall from your wrist, potentially sustaining severe and costly damage or even becoming damaged beyond repair.
